P&P tattoo aniversary

P&P tattoo parlour our neighborhood tattoists celebrated their 1st year aniversary with a fashion show. They had Joel Poniente, Ron poe, Myke samabajon , jake Cuerpo , Alex Botelho and our own lucky monkey Noli Coronado walk the runway in Shop shirts. Noli wore his trademark ELvis shades and a shop shirt upside down, having a piece of duct tape only for cover. Jauhn of onewayride.blogspot rode over with me in his suicide shift, skinny bars and high mount chopper. I was amazed at how zen he rode with through the traffic splitting lanes and going thru narrow gaps in crazy manila traffic. I brought along my Benjies cafe racer gb400 and was fumbling in traffic since i havent had a lot of ride time on that bike, I struggled with my tall bike as i watched Jauhn haul ass on the skinny chopper. It was a good night to ride split lanes and celebrate tattoos

Motorcycles, rock n' roll
Every turn of the wheel is a revolution,
One day at the Museum of Modern art, a tourist was bitching about the art work he saw.
" I can paint this, i can do this my 5 year old coulda painted this" a bystander tells the tourist in his yuppie shirt, yuppie shoes and ghey haircut. " Yeah you can paint this and you can paint that, The difference is they actually painted it "

Noli's Elvira

Noli the sculptor of Lucky monkey is not only a sculptor he is also a passionate bike builder. His bikes are usually far out, raw metal rolling scultptures. As with our jewelry we still adhere to raw metal, raw angry aggresive machines that baffle onlookers. Last sunday during breakfast with Benjie of Benjiescaferacer.com he unveiled his creation. A Kawasaki KZ750 with no registration, chopped dropped and inlayed with brass and embellished with Brass Agimats( Filipino protection amulets) . Kustom touches such as the jeepney fender 4.5 liter gas tank, old ducati handgrips, old gilera seat, a discarded avon white side wall. The bike is mean in fact it kicked noli in the shins a few times getting her kick started. Another machine for the streets of mean manila
